Get Free was created as a space for Black women, girls, and gender-expansive people to connect, learn, and take action to build Black feminist power and get us all free. Black feminists need a space, like Get Free, to shift and build upon the teachings of those who came before us to stay sharp and in direct opposition to the systems and powers that were built to forget, oppress, and disregard us. Attendees will be nourished, prepared, and energized to continue the work of our ancestors.
